tribal prosperity...
Here at Mandala Living Cuisine, it is one of our foundational goals to play our role in feeding humanity in the true nature of our species. Tribe. In a tribe, no one goes unfed. Resources are shared. Prosperity is shared. It is an intense time int he world collectively right now, as the very system we have been so dependent upon is broken and it is time for great change. The fact that there is so much wealth and prosperity in the world, and yet people go hungry every day is a reflection of how far we've strayed from our true nature, from tribe. The Prosperity bowl is our seva, our mindful service, to assist in bringing us back to our roots by offering this free bowl of high quality organic plant based food to anyone in need, any day of the week: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you are hungry, you know there's somewhere you can go get high quality plant-based nutrition. We call it the Prosperity Bowl because it is not a charity. It's not just us that's responsible for this bold mission statement from our company. We are taking a giant step towards the great imbalance between the divide of prosperity in our current tribe of America as it is divided between the 2% or the 98%. How can we even begin to take this on?
Let's start with making sure everyone in our tribe is fed. How can the 2%, or anyone else who wants to share some prosperity with our people, can get involved? Mandala has, and it's works. We are building a Prosperity fund that is based off of a network of corporations that are signing on as monthly or annual sponsors / donors to fund this mission. The 2% has heard the call and is answering back. We have already signed some of the top corporations who see the power of this vision to become a social movement in this country and potentially an international model for how we can start balancing the prosperity in this world and at the very least, make sure more of our people as a species don't go hungry.
On are local level, a network of farmers' and suppliers' are also becoming branches of this tree of prosperity, and our signing up as sponsors with weekly and monthly donations of a certain quantity of food for us to prepare to be able to serve the Prosperity Bowl 7 days a week to those in need. We have created the Prosperity Seal which will become the ethical symbol of this movement and every company that becomes a sponsor / donor will be given this seal to display proudly representing that they are actively being part of the solution, not the problem. though this may seem like a baby step towards such a overwhelming situation. Baby steps are still steps...and if they're set in the right direction, we skies the limit. This is a collaborative effort from our communities and we are holding the intention that it will expand as we expand Mandala Living Cuisine to four locations on Kauai that you can go get the Prosperity Bowl, tonic, and smoothie. Our journey begins at the sacred land that became the Coco Palms and is now being restored. The developers have allowed a portion of the land to utilized for the community to create a weekly farmers market, night market, community garden, and dining court. We have no budget, but the freedom to create a community environment for the people, by the people. The rains and flooding has taken its toll on our workers, the land, and our ability to launch. We are pushing forward and are set to open in the next two weeks, but can use your support! Come down to the Palms and contribute time in the garden, construction and development of the market and dining area, or donate for us to pay our hardworking carpenters who are donating a lot of time, energy, and their own materials. We have a second location in Kapaa set to open a couple months after we get up and running at the Palms. Then kilauea, and Poipu. Our vision expands to all of the islands and across the US by 2020. We can make the Prosperity Bowl a real social movement in this country and are brining in the assistance of some really amazing activists and even politicians who have been working for bring awareness and land for the 2%. One of them happens to be one of the partners here at Mandala Living Cuisine as she shares our vision to feed the people of the world! So why the Prosperity Bowl?
"When someone is down and out, we feel that to receive a bowl of prosperity creates and energetic shift in an individual's energy far more than a bowl of charity. In our indigenous tribal roots, resources and prosperity are shared and distributed to enrich the tribe collectively. We are one tribe. Let us eat, play, grow, and heal together. It is the only way we will truly heal this world. Aloha and Sat Nam!"
